Scheduling Telemedicine or "Virtual" appointment
To schedule this appointment, call our office at (314) 291-5307 or request an appointment via our website. Our office staff will ask for your email address to send an email confirming the date and time of your appointment. There will be a link within the email which you will click to begin the appointment at your scheduled time.
If it would be more convenient to conduct this visit on your phone and you are not able to access your email, we can send you a text message with the link as well.
Our office is currently utilizing the Zoom application, which you can download on your personal computer, iPhone, or Android.
To download the Zoom application:
At least 15 minutes prior to your appointment time, we recommend you click on the link within the email (or text message) you receive from our office. If you have not downloaded the application, you will be taken to a Zoom webpage which will provide a link to download the application.
If on your smartphone, you will download from the App Store or Google Play. The application is called ZOOM Cloud Meetings.
To start your appointment:
At your scheduled appointment time click the link below "Join Zoom Meeting." Click "yes" to any prompts allowing the application to use your phone or computer's video and audio software. Then click "Join with Video."
You will then be placed in the virtual waiting room. When the doctor sees that your have entered the waiting room, he will start then start the meeting (appointment).
You may receive one more prompt to "Call using Internet Audio." Please select this option as opposed to using you phone audio.
If starting the appointment from your phone, you must be able to access the internet via your cellular service or local WiFi.
If you have an issue which would need to be evaluated in person or if you would prefer to schedule a "traditional" office visit, please let our staff know of any specific concerns and what symptoms you would like to be evaluated by the doctor.
Current measures in place for the safety of our patients and staff include:
- Temperature checks and symptom survey for all people coming in the building. Depending on which office location, you may be given a badge stating which doctor you will be seeing and your appointment time.
- Our appointments will be spaced out to minimize the number of people in the waiting room.
- New patients can complete paperwork from home by downloading the forms from the website and emailing it to [email protected] You can print the forms and bring them into our office as well.
- Continued strict maintenance of sanitizing protocols for instruments and exam rooms between each patient encounter.
